“New world” or… Is there a “true religion”?

“The language of truth is simple”
Lucius Annaeus Sĕnĕca

Do you not know that a little leaven ferments the whole lump? – the Apostle Paul asked his addressees (2 Corinthians 5:6, NWT, © 1961,1981,1984 WTBTS).

Similarly, if unscriptural terms seem the most innocuous, they may indicate a grand apostasy.

When they speak of “pure worship” and “pure language of truth,” the preachers of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization do not think about the origin of the terms used in their communication and in their service. Many of their terms only obscure the true message of the Kingdom — especially for the Jehovah’s witnesses themselves.

New world“, “spiritual Paradise“, “spiritual ark of salvation“, “God’s organization“, “true religion“, and so on. All such terms are part of the “spiritual food” that is given to Jehovah’s Witnesses by the elders of their organization, some of which call themselves a “faithful and discreet slave” of Jesus Christ. Thoughtlessly repeating their words, Jehovah’s Witnesses may one day say to Christ something similar to Adam’s words: “The faithful and discreet slave whom you gave, he gave us this spiritual food and so we ate.” (compare Genesis 3:12).

This is not surprising, because all such terms are embedded in the mind of every newly converted person at the beginning of their Christian life. Then a person can use such terminology all their life, without thinking that all these terms are unbiblical, at least.

The list goes on and on — religious leaders always do better than anyone else in matters of “swelling expressions” (compare 2 Peter 2:18, NWT). But, with a cursory look, you can see that there is one thing that unites all the terms listed above. They are all intended to indicate something related to material entities, something visible, or something that can be explicitly imagined. It is not surprising that each of these concepts is supported by an abundance of colorful images in the publications of the Watchtower society.

The “New World”?

Apostle Paul wrote that “we are walking by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NWT). It is obvious that true faith is not based on visible material things or visible organization that can be imagined or seen. No, true faith is the fruit of a spirit focused on the heavenly Father and His purpose.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the terminology used by Jehovah’s witnesses is only an insidious fake of biblical concepts. Thus, using the term “new world” in their conversations along with the Term “Kingdom of Christ”, they teach that the Kingdom of Christ already began in 1914. But it is obviously insidious trick: if the Kingdom of Christ has already come, is it possible that it must come again? Of course not. Therefore, it is much more logical to wait for a “new world”, isn’t it? Of course, they may object that the prophet Isaiah foretold “new heaven and a new earth” (Isaiah 65:17, NWT). However, unlike the term “new world”, Isaiah’s words are biblical. They have much more contextual meaning than “new world”.

Besides, when secular politicians also talk about the coming of a “new world” and a “new world order,” doesn’t it seem strange that Jehovah’s Witnesses are also waiting for a “new world”? Don’t their Terminology duplicate the expectations of these politicians?

I do not mention the meaning of such terms and teachings as “spiritual Paradise” or “spiritual ark”. Only the blindest and laziest did not speak of the absurdity of these unbiblical teachings.

“True religion”

The fact that the term “religion” is not biblical, and it is only half the trouble.

Because belonging to a religion does not make a person mature like Christ. After all, what was the base of Christ’s maturity? The “true religion”? By no means, his opponents belonged to the same religion, but this did not prevent them from putting Him to death.

The maturity of Christ was different in that it was impossible to manipulate Him. His main motive was love for his Father and absolute devotion only to Him. And its main qualities were the fruits of the spirit. Love, mercy, kindness, hatred of deceit and injustice. There was no lie in his mouth. He was unsurpassed in His insight and saw people almost through, especially the sly ones.

What do all these qualities have to do with “religion”? All these qualities are the fruit of the spirit, not of religion. Therefore, there is no “true religion” either. Instead, there is only an imitation of Christianity through human and organizational fuss.

Finally, to see the absurdity of the term “true religion”, it is enough to understand the preaching on the Mount of Jesus Christ.

True Christianity is not a religion. True Christianity is the acquisition of the mind of Christ. This is the path from receiving the right beginnings of Christ’s teaching to achieving full love for the Father and personal maturity.

“God’s organization»

Of course, this term is also unscriptural. But it is a reflection of the greatest hope of every orthodoxy Jehovah’s witness. “God’s organization”, as the Witnesses call themselves, became for them the “ark of salvation”, and in fact — a colorful idol that replaced the True God and the true biblical hope.

In contrast, where there is a Father and His sons, there is a loving family, not a rigid organization with hierarchical pyramid subordination. Is this why Jesus taught that only love can make people children of God? (Matthew 5:44,45, NWT)

However, the Bible has the term “God’s people“. For Jehovah’s Witnesses, this term actually became synonymous with the term “God’s organization”, i.e., it also became an idol. That’s what they say: “we have God’s people, we have God’s organization, we have a real temple of Jehovah, i.e. anointed! Only we have the true religion” (compare Jeremiah 7:4, NWT). What a boastful exaltation of one’s “achievements”! What a funny hodgepodge of words! By analogy with worship in ancient Israel, they say that there was also an organization there!

Why do the Witnesses not think about that God destroyed this ancient “organization” twice at the hands of pagans? What it was the prototype of? Isn’t it a prototype of the end of the Jehovah’s Witness organization?

Organized worship did exist in ancient Israel, but this does not give anyone the right to introduce a new term, and to say that the terms “God’s people” and “God’s organization” are equivalent.

Ancient Israel was “the people of God” because it was in Covenant with Him. Belonging to the people of God was determined by the origin and fulfillment of the law of Moses. If a person grossly violated the Law, then he violated the Covenant with God. For certain violations, he was entitled to the death penalty, i.e., he ceased to be a member of God’s people.

However, the prophet Jeremiah described a state when the entire nation was drowned in sins, distanced from God and practically lost the right to be called His people:

And Jehovah proceeded to say to me: “Do not pray in behalf of this people for any good.

When they fast, I am not listening to their entreating cry; and when they offer up the whole burnt offering and the grain offering, I am taking no pleasure in them; for by the sword and by famine and by pestilence I am bringing them to their end. (Jeremiah 14:10-16, NWT)

As you can see, in ancient times the violator of the Covenant could be a whole people. They brought themselves to such a state that Jehovah could not and would not hear prayers for this people! But they also put visible things and idols in the first place instead of God (Jeremiah 7:4, 8-10).

Everything that happened in the days of Jeremiah, Jehovah recorded as a violation of the Covenant, which caused irreversible consequences for those who broke it (see below, Jeremiah 31:32).

This is more true in the New Testament’s era. At this time, belonging to God’s people is determined not by origin, but by the Spirit that lives in the human heart. This is evident from Jehovah’s promise to make a New Covenant:

Look! There are days coming,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I will conclude with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant; not one like the covenant that I concluded with their forefathers… which covenant of mine they them selves broke, although I myself had husbandly ownership of them, is the utterance of Jehovah.”

For this is the covenant that I shall conclude with the house of Israel after those days,” is the utterance of Jehovah. “I will put my law within them, and in their heart I shall write it. And I will become their God, and they themselves will become my people.” (Jeremiah 31:31-34, NWT)

The fact that the New Testament implies writing on hearts shows that such a Covenant is made only on an individual basis! People who have dedicated their lives to Jehovah, but continue to plot evil or do it (secretly or openly), will never be able to join the New Testament and become a true “people of God”.

What can we say about the unbiblical term “God’s organization”? This is just fiction, fake. Moreover, considering the doctrinal casuistry, false prophecies, and criminal scandals that plague the Watchtower’s reputation, can it be called a “God organization”? No way!

This is just a fake, an imitation of God’s people, an imitation of “pure language” and pure worship. This is just an imitation designed to deceive potential chosen ones. Some of them might actually have been deceived and have been appeared in this organization. But this also does not make them the “God’s organization”, although God can use it as a tool. Have the faithful people who are no longer in this organization ceased to be the people of God? No way! In the parable of wheat and weeds, Jesus said that the field is a world, not an organization (Mattew 13:38). That’s why His wheat will ripen before harvest in the world.

Jehovah can use any organization, any state, or any person. Because he is God. Only God’s name and correct beginnings of a teaching are not proof of God’s choice, God’s approval, or God’s origin.

But God has not changed. And this eloquently illustrates that whoever calls themselves “the people of God” or “God’s organization”, all who have dedicated themselves to God to glorify His Name, but do not repent, continue to break the Covenant, cease to be the people of God at any time. This is what they will be responsible for as God’s people!

Keep the pure language of truth

As you can see, none of the terms considered can claim to be a pure language of truth. It is obvious that all such “terms” are rather insidious leaven that replace the pure beginnings of Christ’s teaching at the earliest stage of a Christian’s learning.

Therefore, be vigilant, purify and protect your mind from insidious “leaven”!

In full agreement with the prophecies of The Scriptures, there is no “new world” and there will not be.

The God’s Kingdom is ahead.
