And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14, NWT, © 1961,1981,1984 WTBTS).
The fulfillment of this prophecy has never happened just for the reason that it was this preaching that Jesus called one of the signs of the “time of the end” (“the conclusion of the system of things”, NWT). You may ask: How so? By whom, how and when should it be fulfilled?
This is truly amazing, and especially for Jehovah’s Witnesses, who, it would seem, have embraced almost the entire world with their preaching. Calling their preaching a “miracle,” they are truly confident that they have fulfilled this prophecy. But the problem is that, unlike Jesus and His disciples, who preached the approach of God’s Kingdom, members of the Watchtower organization preach “The Kingdom already came in 1914”. I.e. Jesus “invisibly reigned on the heavenly throne”. This confidence is based on their misunderstanding of the term “seven times of the Gentiles“, which, according to their “calculations,” lasted 2520 years and ended in 1914. But there is no biblical basis for this, because the real “times of the Gentiles” are the “time of the end” predicted by Christ. This is a very short period that will only last 42 prophetic months. And which, accordingly, has never come before.
Thus, the preaching of Jehovah’s Witnesses is not the fulfillment of this prophecy. Their preaching is simply a fiction, a “false miracle,” an instrument of a “man of lawlessness” designed to deceive believers and potential participants in Christ’s congregation.
This site has already provided countless biblical proofs that the preaching foretold by Christ in Matthew 24:14 is a sign of the “time of the end.” And this preaching will be delivered by the “holy ones of the Most High.” In the 11th chapter of Revelation, they are symbolized as Read More
